CUET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Official NTA appearing regulations and university-specific undergraduate admission requirements.
• No Age Limit: For appearing in the CUET (UG) 2026 examination, there is no age limit for the candidates.
• Candidates who have passed the Class 12 / equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in the examination.
Important University Caveat: Candidates must fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the specific University/Institution/Organisation in which they are desirous of taking admission.

- Subject-wise NTA Scorecard: Raw marks obtained out of 250 and normalized percentile scores per subject.
- No Centralized AIR: NTA does NOT release an overall common All-India Rank (AIR) or universal national cutoff score.
- Digital Score Sharing: NTA securely transmits candidate scores to the participating universities chosen during application.
How Universities Calculate Merit
- Programme Mapping: The university aggregates scores only for the specific subjects required for that degree.
- Example (DU B.Com Hons): Aggregate of 1 Language (200M) + Math/Accountancy (200M) + 2 Domains (400M) = 800 Total Marks.
- Example (BHU B.A. Arts): Language (200M) + General Aptitude Test (250M) = 450 Total Marks.
