Eligibility & Educational Qualification

Minimum Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board/University for LDC/JSA and applicable DEO posts. For DEO/DEO Grade 'A' in the specified departments, 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject is required.

Detailed Criteria: LDC/JSA and applicable DEO/DEO Grade 'A' posts: 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. For DEO/DEO Grade 'A' in the departments specified in the notice, 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject is required. The essential qualification must be obtained by 2026-10-07.

Application Fee Structure

Application fee: ₹100. Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt. Online fee payment is available up to 2026-10-08 at 11:00 PM. Application correction fee: ₹200 for the first correction and ₹500 for the second correction.

Payment via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI or SBI Challan.

Selection Process & Examination Scheme

Stages of Selection:

Tier-I Computer Based Examination → Tier-II Computer Based Examination → applicable Skill Test/Typing Test (qualifying) → Document Verification. No interview.

Exam Pattern Scheme:

Tier-I: 100 questions, 200 marks, 60 minutes; English 25Q/50M, General Intelligence 25Q/50M, Quantitative Aptitude 25Q/50M, General Awareness 25Q/50M; 15 minutes sectional timing per section; negative marking 0.50 mark per wrong answer. Tier-II: Session-I includes Mathematical Abilities 30Q/90M, Reasoning & General Intelligence 30Q/90M, English Language & Comprehension 40Q/120M, General Awareness 20Q/60M and Computer Knowledge Test 15Q/45M; Session-II contains the qualifying Skill/Typing Test. Negative marking of 1 mark applies in Sections I-III. LDC/JSA typing: 35 wpm English or 30 wpm Hindi; DEO skill standards depend on the post.
